Kosmische Keuterboeren - Harvest (Sloow Tapes)

Kosmische Keuterboeren ("cosmic small farmers") are ready for harvest. For years they've been playing primitive folk music in their barn. Then crop circles started to appear. This didn't really affect their daily life, but in the barn things started changing: their music became even more primitive and also distorted and alienating. The end result is now out on Sloow Tapes: two sides of ritualistic folk/kraut jams from cosmic farmville.

Dylan Ettinger - Interstellar pleasures (Digitalis Limited)

I know, I know ... it's starting to look like a Dylan Ettinger fan blog over here but his output over the last months has been amazing. This time he takes us on a cosmic synth trip of stellar beauty.

9/10.

Brett Naucke - Southern California (Arbor Infinity)

"New new age" is what some people call this, I call it pure meditative headphone bliss.

Robert Turman - Chapter Eleven (Hanson records)

CHAPTER ELEVEN is a massive eight cassettte box reissue containing 4 hours of Turman’s music recorded through the years 1976 - 1987. A wonderful discovery: early noise, meditative electronics, guitar explorations and so much more. Absolutely essential.

Dylan Ettinger - New Age Outlaws (Not Not Fun)

Dylan Ettinger is cracking out a great string of tape releases over the last months. His new release on Not Not Fun records sounds like a doped 80's soundtrack from outer space which is off course a good thing. Next up is a lp on Foxy Digitalis. Can't wait.

Meditative soundscapes ...

Head Boggle - Alto Coloratura In Synthesize (Catholic tapes)
